The Little Buddy refillable, butane micro torch is a pocket lighter that creates a precise flame emitting from its head, allowing direct heat application to an object. It is used for pipes, cigars, and cigarette-lighting. The Little Buddy lighter has a flip-top cap, for convenient, one-handed operation, and a flame-locking lever, for ease of use. The lighter has a fuel adjustment dial at its base, to control flame length, as well as a clear view of the fuel chamber, for ease of fuel-gauging. The lighter houses a piezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, and requires no electric connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition. With a maximum flame temperature of 2,500 degrees F, the Little Buddy has a burn time of approximately 20 continuous minutes, and has a 5.0-gram gas capacity. Its flame range is 0.75 to 2.0 inches. The lighter weighs 2.0 ounces, measures 0.75 (d) x 1.25 (w) x 3.0 (h) inches, and has a black body finish. It has a CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission)-certified safety mechanism.
